Learning Opportunities for Gifted Youth Co-op (LOGYC) is a cooperative educational environment for gifted homeschooling families. Our primary mission is to provide a safe space for students and families to pursue enrichment and educational freedom while nurturing potential through skills, talents and passions.

LOGYC thrives because of the participation of all of its members. We operate as a cohesive community, where the contributions of everyone, from adults to the smallest students, are valuable and necessary. Our volunteer efforts are the backbone of what makes home schooling a powerful choice for those families seeking to take greater control of their student’s learning path.

Our goals as home educators are to engage, support and inspire students to take ownership of their education. As a collective, we are invested in all of the members’ growth, both academically and emotionally.

Through the efforts all members, whether through teaching, assisting, child-care or cleaning, we function as a cooperative, to serve our community.

Our environment is one where all are welcome. We function with the ethos of personal accountability and mutual respect. The co-op requires respect for our teachers who volunteer their time and efforts, as well as respect for each other and our shared space.

LOGYC is an extension of your independent homeschooling path. As such, we operate in partnership with parents and families to achieve individual goals and to provide meaningful and life-long experiences that nurture and support the strength and needs of all gifted learners.
