Math and art have always been connected, but are traditionally viewed as two separate subjects. In this class, we will explore math concepts through art! Various art media and techniques will be our window into discussion and comprehension of math ideas such as: number literacy, 2D and 3D shape identification, units of measurement, pattern recognition/ creation, arithmetic, and much more! This class will expand on the concepts we introduced last session, but will be tailored to the children in it to make sure everyone has an enjoyable and educational experience (so previous experience is not necessary).

Materials will be provided for class, but we will frequently be getting messy, so it is recommended to dress for a mess every week (or put an apron or smock in your child's bag for the whole session).
