Want to have fun with math and science?  Play with us and discover:  How to help astronauts in space that have a problem with their heat shield (coordinate geometry), how chair placement in a room can have a big impact on communication (graph theory / sociology / computer science), how to estimate geometry problems using your intuition, how to solve problems like a computer or a farmer, how to win a game show, and more.   


Teachers: Newt Sherwin, Amy Weaver

Minimum/maximum number of students: 6/16

Age range: around 8+, but please see prerequisites

Price: $26


Class prerequisites: willingness to work in groups, comfort with pre-algebra and basic geometry (we will review area of a circle and triangle as part of the class).
